The 2010 World Series of Poker Tournament of Champions is underway with two big names hot for the title that both happen to represent online poker room UB.com; Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke.

As of this UB Review writing the pair was back to back in the competition, both likely to walk with a $25k prize if nothing changes, but anyone familiar with this pair knows they will be fighting for the glory and the $500,000 grand prize that comes with absolute victory.

UB Referral Code Hellmuth has been hunting his 12th bracelet; a victory here would not count, as the TOC is not a bracelet event, but there is no question he would like to win it. As for Duke, she would be the only player to have two TOC victories, as she was the winner of the inaugural TOC back in 2004.

Crystal King Benefit Foundation will benefit this month’s running of the UB.com Second Sunday’s charity poker tournament. The $10 buy-in tournament will take place at 14:45 ET on July 11th and a member of Team UB, former “Amazing Race” contestant Tiffany Michelle will host the said event, UB Referral Code.

UB.com will match all of the profits raised from the tournament and then donate the entire prize pool to the Crystal King Benefit Foundation. Also, those who play will be in the running for more than $2,000 in additional prizes.

What is the Crystal King Benefit Foundation? The support came about when mother Crystal King and her three-year-old twins Camrea-Rose and Caden were involved in a major traffic incident two months ago. Caden passed away in the wreck with a semi, while Camrea-Rose and Crystal survived, in spite multitude of UB Review life threatening injuries. UB.com got wind of the family’s plight through and decided to get involved.

Full Tilt Poker’s Gavin Smith won Event #44 at the 2010 World Series of Poker to claim his first bracelet.

The Canadian poker professional began playing poker since 1994 and turned pro four years later. He became famous in 2005 when winning two events in a week at the Mirage Poker Showdown, part of the World Poker Tour Fulltilt Poker Referral Code.

Before this year’s success, the closest Smith had come to winning a WSOP* bracelet was in 2007, when he came second in Event #4, a $1,500 Pot-Limit Hold ‘em tournament.

The 2010 WSOP* Event #44 started last June 24th, 2010, with 507 players and a prize pool of $1,166,100. The tournament featured 30-minute periods alternating amid No-Limit and Limit Hold ‘em, Full Tilt Bonus. At the end of Day One, 69 players stayed in the field, which was then carved down to the final table of nine ahead of the third and final day.
